To foster entrepreneurial success, the EDC operates two small business incubators in St. Charles County: a 60,000-square-foot mixed use facility at 5988 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters and a 9,000-square-foot office facility at 118 North Second Street in historic St. Charles.
Home-based businesses and new start-up companies who move into an EDC incubator center benefit from a dynamic, creative, and professional environment. This includes having shared office services, staff resources, access to conference rooms, specialized training, and much more!
Plus, now through Sept. 1, 2009, the EDC is also waiving security deposits for new office tenants. That’s a savings equal to one-month’s rent and a great way to help local entrepreneurs keep more of their financial resources.
There are four steps to apply. They include completing an EDC incubator application, submitting a written business plan, meeting with a business counselor, and making a presentation to the EDC Incubator Advisory Committee.
